App data & account deletion

Brown Family Apps does not maintain user accounts or store your app-created content on Brown Family Apps servers. For apps that store information locally on your device, removing that local app data is all that is required.

No account deletion request is required. There is no Brown Family Apps server-side account or cloud database for us to delete on your behalf.

How to remove your app data

You can remove locally stored app data directly from your device. The exact menu names can vary slightly by device manufacturer and operating-system version.

Android

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Open Apps and select the Brown Family Apps app.
  3. Choose Storage or Storage & cache.
  4. Select Clear storage / Clear data.

You can also uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes the app and its local application data from the device.

iPhone / iPad

  1. Press and hold the app icon.
  2. Choose Remove App.
  3. Select Delete App.
  4. Confirm deletion.

Deleting the app removes its locally stored application data from the device.

What this removes

Clearing app storage or deleting the app removes information stored inside the app on that device, such as settings, locally maintained records, notes, and other app-specific data.
